6 Nations 60k Training Update

As the first race approaches, here’s an update from Anthony on his training progress:

“Having built up the running distance during December (including a Christmas Day run!) I completed my first 10k training run early in the New Year:

Our annual ski trip looked like it was going to interrupt training so I decided to try something different – cross country skiing:

It took a bit of getting used to and was exhausting, especially at altitude but definitely made up for not being able to run. Back to pounding the pavements and paths now but I feel like I’m preparing well and will be ready for Glasgow on 8th Feb. Please make a donation if you can to help spur me on”

6 Nations 60k Challenge

In February and March 2026, Anthony Locke will take on an ambitious endurance challenge, running six official 10k races across the six Six Nations countries. With one race scheduled on each consecutive weekend of the Six Nations rugby tournament, the challenge combines athletic endurance with a unique celebration of international sport.
