The final race in the 6 Nations 60k Challenge took place on a lovely spring morning on Sunday (15th March) in rural France about 100 miles South East of Paris. The race was called La Panadiere and here’s a report from Anthony on how it went:
“On a lovely cool sunny spring morning in rural France the final race of the 6 Nations 60k challenge happened in a little town called Villemaur sur Vanne. Popular with local running clubs it was the first race of the year for the local running scene so a good turn out from lots of local French running clubs. There were about 500 runners for the 10K, Rachael ran it in 58:45 which is her quickest of the challenge by 1 second (!) and gave her 3rd place in her age group. I ran it in 48:13 which was my quickest time of the challenge and gave me 5th place in my age group. We’re both very pleased to have finished off with our fastest times:
