Anthony Locke’s 6 Nations 60k Challenge

Inspired by the courage that Lewis Moody has shown since receiving the devastating news of his MND diagnosis, Bath Rugby fan and Club sponsor Anthony Locke has created a unique challenge to raise money for The BR Foundation and The Lewis Moody Foundation.

He’ll be taking on the challenge of running six 10K races across the Six Nations rugby tournament period, one race in each of the six countries.

He’s aiming to raise an incredible £10,000 so read on to hear from Anthony on how you can donate and win rugby-themed prizes!

In February and March 2026, I’m taking on a challenge to run six official 10k races during the 6 Nations rugby tournament. One race in each of the 6 Nations countries on consecutive weekends. I’m going to try and complete each race in under 60 minutes, driving to each location in an electric vehicle rather than flying.

Why? Partly to mark my 60th birthday but mainly to raise funds for two excellent charities that are close to my heart and link to my passion for rugby; Bath Rugby Foundation who do fantastic work with disadvantaged children and young people in and around Bath, and Lewis Moody Foundation, which is raising much needed funds for research into MND.

With your help, I’ll be looking to raise £10,000 to be split equally between these two very worthy causes.
